BCAW returns in 2024 with a significant new focus marking a fresh beginning . This year, the campaign will focus on Resilience, alongside business continuity, its name evolving to become BCAW+R. – Business Continuity & Resilience Awareness Week. The transformation comes as a result of the exponential development the resilience discipline has undergone - and it now being at the epicentre of the business continuity dialogue. Safaricom invited Tim Marjason FBCI to facilitate their annual Crisis Management Team training and exercise event. The objective was to refresh their understanding of the Crisis Management capabilities and procedures in place as well as their roles and responsibilites.

Our final CBCI Certification Course based on the 2018 Edition of the BCI Good Practice Guidelines marked the end of an era last week. We would like to express our appreciation to The BCI for their ongoing support to make the learning process for BCM Professionals in the Middle East a success story. We are very grateful to have contributed to our CBCI students' growth in their professional careers. During the Saudi Business Continuity conference Tim Marjason FBCI, an expert in the field of Business Continuity and General Manager of Marjason Consulting, delivered a presentation covering the following key points:

2. Outlining the Benefits & ROI to achieve Top Management buy-in for BC

Tim's presentation aimed to provide clarity on the different aspects of BC, including the policy, program, and management system. It also emphasized the importance of effectively communicating the benefits and ROI to gain support from top management in implementing a comprehensive BCMS. Additionally, the presentation highlighted the outcomes of a well-implemented BCMS and the need for continuously review and improve to ensure an effective business continuity management system.

Education Month 2023 will focus on how to build a resilient career in the long run. Career Resilience is a lifelong skill that gives you the strength to adapt to challenges throughout your professional journey.
